The Boone County Library is closed on July 4 but has a lot happening this month, according to Terry Register from the library.
Register appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to talk about upcoming activities. The summer reading program continues. Children must turn in the reading logs by July 27. The children's program has a lot going on in July.
This coming Monday will feature nature journaling with Arkansas Game and Fish. July 9 will give kids the opportunity to make clay charms.
Kids will make travel trailers on July 10 and papier-mâché owls on July 11. Rainstick making is the activity of July 15. The library has fun for teens too.
On July 16, they can make boba at the library. On July 17, it's time to make lifesize angry birds. Movie time is next.
On July 18, the library will show the Trolls movie. Adults have opportunities at the library too.
Bodybuilder Todd Scarborough will speak about fitness, fat loss and muscle growth on July 9.
