Boone County Airport's Judy McCutcheon Reacts to Award and Updates

Judy McCutcheon of the Boone County airport recently won an award.

McCutcheon talked about this during KHOZ's "Around The Table" broadcast on Monday. She reacted to receiving the Jim Davita Tourism award.

McCutcheon said she "was actually just shocked. Like why me?" She explained that her first thought was one of concern over attending an award ceremony because she doesn't take to the spotlight. McCutcheon also discussed some updates from the airport.

She announced that the airport signed a contract with Southern Airways for four additional years. Also, the new hanger is finished, but McCutcheon said that there is a wait on utilities. McCutcheon added that Southern Airways will lease the box hanger for the next four years beginning on April 1.

The good news continues. She said that "Pegasus Aviation will be coming to our airport."

This should start on April 1 as well. All of this and more was discussed during the broadcast.

The full interview with McCutcheon is available on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
