Body of Missing Swimmer Recovered in Table Rock Lake

The body of a swimmer that went missing in Table Rock Lake Wednesday has been found.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the body of 44-year-old Bradley Bruce of Byrnes Mills, Mo. was discovered after he went into the water on Wednesday with one of his sons to help another son out of the water when he appeared to be in distress. Both sons made it out of the water but Bruce struggled and went under before someone could get to him to help.

The MSHP report indicates the body recovery was made and identity confirmed just after 6:00 Friday evening.
