Arkansas Primary Election Coming in March, Early Voting Starts Next Week

The Arkansas Primary Election is just under three weeks away.

The Election Day is on Tuesday March 5 with Arkansas Voters to vote in the Presidential and Congressional Primary to select their preference for the nominees in the Democratic and Republican Parties. Voters will be asked to pick which party ballot they would like for voting. 

Meanwhile, Judicial Positions will be up for election which will include positions on the state's Supreme Court and some areas of the state will have local school and issues elections. 

Early voting will get underway next week. Due to the President's Day Holiday on Monday, the early voting period will begin next Tuesday and run through March 4. Voting hours during the two weeks of early voting will be 8:00 am to 6:00 pm during the week and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays. The final day of early voting on Monday March 4 will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. In Boone County, the early voting will take place at the Election Center on West Central in Harrison while other counties will have early voting at their courthouses or other designated areas. 

Polls in Arkansas on March 5 will be open from 7:30 am and 7:30 pm.
