ARDOT Plans Public Hearing on Highway 65 Improvements in Harrison

A meeting for planned improvements on a major highway in Harrison will happen later this month.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will conduct a Location and Design Public Hearing meeting from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 29, to present and discuss the proposed design plans and environmental assessment for the widening of Highway 65 from Industrial Park Road to Highway 7 as well as intersection improvements at the juncture of Highway 65, Industrial Park Road, and North Main Street.

The meeting will be held at North Arkansas College, South Campus JPH Conference Center, 1515 Pioneer Drive, Harrison, AR 72601.

The public may view meeting materials and provide written comments at the following locations:

Comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, September 12.
