Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru is located just north of Sight & Sound Theatre. Guests can enter the attraction at the corner of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Expressway Lane. Lights of Joy will be open 5-11 PM, every night, from November 1st through thru January 4th. Some displays are located on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and there is no cost to see just those. Value nights will be most Mondays and Tuesdays for only $25.00 per car. On most Wednesdays thru Sunday nights the price is $30.00 per car. There are also rates for minibuses, limousines, and motor coaches. “The Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru is easily accessible for motorcoaches and limos with no hills too steep or corners too sharp,” Kysar said. A limited number of season passes will also be available.

BRANSON, MO- One of Branson’s most popular Christmas attractions, the Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru, announced today that they will once again have an all-new Christmas drive-thru in 2025. “Every major display, except our tunnel and video boards will be replaced,” says Kurt Kysar, manager of Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru. “Having extensive new displays is unheard of in this industry and this is our fifth year to do this.”

There are several new themed areas locals and visitors will be able to experience including: Candy Canes and Poinsettias, Christmas in NY, Christmas Gardens, Season of Joy, North Pole, Safari Christmas, 12 Days of Christmas, Penguin Holiday, and Dragon Kingdom.

Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru will also have numerous nights with Santa. Santa will be at the Lights of Joy most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the season for pictures and for children to share their Christmas wishes. Kysar takes pride in the drive-through each year. “We know how important Ozark Mountain Christmas is to the community. Memories are made here. Whether it’s a family, motor coach group or a group of friends this is an annual tradition for thousands. We have a variety of displays and themes. We will have some returning favorites, but they will still be new and different from the past.”

Work has already begun on putting up the new displays. It takes a big crew and a lot of coordination to put the Christmas light drive-thru on. Some of the displays are over 20 feet tall. “When you are in your car you don’t always realize how big these displays can be.”

Voters in the Best of Branson awards have awarded the Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru the best Christmas drive-thru the past four years and in the past Bobvilla.com included the Lights of Joy Christmas Light Drive-Thru in their top 11 Best Drive -Through Christmas Light Displays in America.

The Lights of Joy Drive-Thru is sponsored by the Branson Scenic Railway which features the Polar Express Train Ride. Those who ride the train will see a portion of the Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru from the train.
