Program in Stone County on Wednesday, November 12 can help make the season merrier for those caring for loved ones
WHAT: Endless obligations, jam-packed schedules, and a never-ending-to-do list...For families living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, any time of the year can be difficult, but the holidays can be particularly bittersweet and challenging. However, with planning, adjusted expectations, and tips from the Alzheimer’s Association, seasonal celebrations can still be happy and meaningful.
The Greater Missouri chapter is hosting a free program to help families modify holiday celebrations, make new holiday traditions, learn how to support the caregiver and how to respond to new behaviors that may present themselves during the stress of holidays.
