This is our 7th year to hold our Annual Fall Festival. Each year it continues to grow. We are excited to be having the Bekemeier Family making their family recipe for apple butter. The apples will be cooked on an open flame, using the copper kettle and stirring the apples with the large wooden paddle. The Bekemeier's were the original family who started the Apple Butter Makin' Days in Mount Vernon, Mo.
We will have over 40 different vendors selling all varieties of crafts, along with delicious baked goods.
We will be having a chili cook-off. Registration is at 10:00 a.m. Judging will be a blind judging and judges will be from our local fire departments. There will be trophies awarded along with cash awards.
Awards will be given to First, Second and Third Place, along with People's Choice. There is no Registration Fee but a signup phone call or text would be helpful. (417-844-2113)
We will have Hayrides touring the property and live music all day long
