Tuck Everlasting Opening at Lyric Theater

Tuck Everlasting is opening at the Lyric Theater this weekend; opening night is Sept. 30 at 6 p.m.

Khloe Shorb and Brylan Cole with Harrison High School Theater Department were on KHOZ’s Around The Table on Tuesday to talk about their involvement in Tuck Everlasting. They are directors of the play. Shorb is also the stage manager for Jungle Book. This is Cole’s first backstage role.

This is the first fully student-led production at the high school. “I don’t think any of us really intended for it to be entirely student-led,” Shorb said. Shorb said it all just happened that way.

“Ms. Hamblin is really good about allowing the entire process to be student-led,” Cole said. “She always backs us 100%.” Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.

After opening night there is a show on Friday at 6 p.m. and on Saturday there is a show at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. The full interview with the directors is on Around The Table’s Facebook Page.
