Sullivan's Pharmacy Celebrates Past and Future

Mike Richardson retires from Sullivan's Pharmacy after 30 years in ownership.

After 30 years of ownership, Mike Richardson has officially handed over the reins of Sullivan’s Pharmacy to Addie and Josh Bundy.

Community members gathered to congratulate Richardson on retirement and the Bundys on their new venture during a Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours on Thursday, December 16.

Sullivan’s Pharmacy has been a staple in Harrison for decades.

“It was always a goal of mine to come back to Harrison,” Mike Richardson said. “Finally the day came and we jumped at the opportunity. It’s just been great. We really appreciate the customers. There is so much competition in town and we really thank our customers for choosing us.”

Richardson went on to say that finding someone local to take over an independent pharmacy is his dream come true.

“When customers come to the pharmacy, they will see the same faces they are used to seeing. Having an independent pharmacy and finding someone to take it over, it is such a relief,” Richardson added.

Addie was born and raised in Harrison and is looking forward to continuing the legacy of Sullivan’s Pharmacy. Addie and her husband jumped at the chance to take on this new adventure.

“To be able to own a pharmacy in my hometown is such a great feeling. I have known so many of our customers for years,” she said.

Addie has been at Sullivan’s Pharmacy for 13 years and is looking forward to many more.
