Senator Scott Flippo Talks Governor Sarah Huckabee-Sanders and More

Arkansas State Senator Scott Flippo talked Friday about Governor Sarah Huckabee-Sanders and more.

The senator spoke on KHOZ's "Around The Table" about all of the "pomp and circumstance" that has occurred this week. He listed the start of a new general assembly and swearing in Huckabee-Sanders as governor among the recent events; he noted that she is Arkansas' first female to occupy the office of governor. Flippo shared his thoughts about the new governor's address to the legislature.

He said his thoughts were "Sarah's here to get to work." He also said he thinks "a lot" of his fellow legislators shared this thought. The senator said Huckabee-Sanders has publically and privately made known her belief that the citizens who cast their vote for her voted for the lawmakers.

Flippo also talked about the executive orders the governor has signed. Later, he discussed income tax reduction and elimination.
