The director of Main Street Harrison provides an update on the organization.
Lauri Rottmayer, during a recent visit to KHOZ's "Around the Table" program, shared that things have been progressing since the organization received its Main Street Designation. She said a website for the organization has been completed and getting final approval before going live. Rottmayer said she has met with most of the business owners in the downtown area since being named director in April. She says she wants to continue the communication lines with business owners as the organization grows.
Rottmayer says things went well for the first round of grants issued for the Downtown Façade Improvement Grant Program to help businesses improve the front look of their building.
Rottmayer says the board will meet soon to go over more of the results from the recent Downtown Strategies survey and make plans for the organization and downtown for the next few years.
The full interview with Lauri Rottmayer can be found on the Around the Table Facebook Page.
