Newton County Library has COVID-19 At-Home Test Kits Available

Limited supply available on a first come first serve basis.

A notification from the Newton County Library Thursday morning says, “The Newton County Library has received another limited supply of COVID-19 At-Home Test Kits this morning. When they have been given out, we do not know if or when we will receive more. Test kits are available first come, first served. Each test kit box contains 2 tests. Per the Arkansas Department of Health, one person may receive 1 box (2 tests) per day and may pick-up up to 3 boxes (6 tests) for a family.”

The library had another shipment earlier this week which ran out in a matter of about one day. The supply is very limited.

The release says that to get a test kit you can:

  • Walk in and request a test kit.
  • Call and request to pick up a test kit outside.
  • Ring the doorbell and request a test kit.

The library will send out another notification when they run out and if they get another shipment of tests.
