The Heat Advisory issued by the National Weather Service for the Missouri Lakes Region continues through Thursday with additional advisories going into effect for Arkansas.
The Heat Advisory issued for Boone, Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties goes into effect today through tomorrow while an advisory has now been issued for Carroll and Madison Counties for today. Temperatures approaching 100 with Heat Index Readings to 110 are possible in the region.
Temperatures are expected to stay in the 90s through the week into the weekend.
