Information has been released by the Arkansas State Police about a traffic crash involving four vehicles last week in Harrison resulting in a fatality.
According to the report released through ASP by the Harrison Police Department, the crash occurred Wednesday morning just before 11:00 on a parking lot on West Central Ave. A vehicle driven by 95-year-old Herbert Terry of Harrison had been traveling north on State Highway 7/Pine Street when it turned into the parking lot and accelerated hitting a parked vehicle which started a chain reaction resulting in two other vehicles also being hit.
Terry was taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center where he later died while all of the parked cars were unoccupied.
228 people have died in traffic crashes reported by the Arkansas State Police in 2025.
