A business owner is facing charges for running a gambling house.
Charges were filed on July 1 against 62-year-old Sarah Hacker of Harrison in connection with the raid law enforcement made at the Internet Cafe and Sweepstakes located at 125 Industrial Park Road in Harrison. On June 8, a search warrant was executed at the business by Harrison Police and the 14th Judicial District Drug Task Force and found numerous items in relation to the gaming operation.
According to the release from the Harrison Police Department, Hacker is facing a felony charge of operating a Gambling House plus three misdemeanor charges for gaming devices. She was released after posting a $25,000 bond.
