Thirty-six-year-old Felicia Dawn Anderson pled guilty to her Boone County case and to the charges in three revocation petitions filed in Baxter County cases. She was given five years in prison to cover all the charges in both counties.

BAXTER COUNTY CASES

Anderson was caught with drugs in her purse in January and April of 2019 and in her apartment the next month.

She was charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia used to ingest drugs in all three cases.

Petitions to revoke her probation in those cases have been filed. The petitions contain a long list of allegations concerning Anderson’s violations of the terms and conditions she was required to follow during her probationary period.

HAS REQUESTED RELEASE FROM JAIL

She has requested release from jail on previous occasions. At one point, she wanted out so she could “take care of my children.”

Circuit Judge John Putman said no. “The allegations in the revocation petition are inconsistent with someone who is taking care of children,” Judge Putman told Anderson.

While Anderson was locked up the Baxter County jail in an earlier case, she requested the court allow her to get out of jail because she was not receiving the medication she needed.

Fourteenth Judicial District Deputy Prosecutor Kerry Chism opposed the request. He told the court Anderson, “May not think her problem is meth, but it is.”

Anderson has undergone mental evaluations in cases in Baxter and Boone Counties. She was found fit to proceed in both instances.

BOONE COUNTY CASE SET FOR TRIAL

According to electronic court records, Anderson has a trial date of August 15 in one Boone County case.

The case stemmed from an arrest on October 7 last year when officers went to a residence in Harrison to conduct a compliance visit on Anderson and found drugs and drug paraphernalia.
