Harps Announces Grand Opening of new Harrison Location

Harps will be opening its new location in the former JC Penny building in January.

According to a press release by the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Harps Food Store will be holding a grand opening at their new location in the Ozarks Crossing Shopping Center on January 26, 2022.

Harrison, AR, December 27, 2021.  Harps Food Stores, Inc. announces the grand opening of their new store, located in the former JCPenney building in Ozark Crossing Shopping Center at 814 U.S. Highway 62-65 North in Harrison.

J Max Van Hoose, Harps Executive Vice President, said, “Come join us on Wednesday, January 26^th at 10am for our grand opening ceremony. The brand new 37,000 square foot Harps store will offer residents of Harrison and the surrounding community, a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, including organics, along with Martha’s Pride beef, all-natural pork, and poultry and Martha’s Dockside Seafood; delicious deli and signature bakery products, fresh sushi as well as well-stocked grocery, health and beauty care, dairy and frozen departments.” He added, “The store hours will be 7AM to 10PM, seven days a week. Our new store is replacing the 611 Highway 62-65 North Bypass Harps location, formerly Country Mart.”

Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson said, “The new Harps has been anticipated for months now and its addition to the center of Harrison is another anchor for the momentum the City is experiencing. And with over 90 new jobs, this is a big win!”
