Bob Largent and Wilson Marseilles Talk Economic Development Report and More

Bob Largent and Wilson Marseilles from the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce talked Friday about their annual report on economic development, Chick-Fil-A and more.

The two spoke on KHOZ's "Around The Table" Friday. Largent said that above $63 million were "tracked" last year. This is for capital investment. He said this includes North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, Popeyes and more. Largent also said 2022 saw above 190 new employees. This brought about $8 million in "salary impact." Chick-Fil-A was a topic of discussion too.

Largent said the chicken restaurant's welcome to Harrison has been "unbelievable." The Chick-Fil-A food truck serves four locations. "Harrison is outdoing the other three," Largent said. He said the food truck's eight-hour presence "doesn't last long enough." The annual Chamber banquet is on the way.

Marseilles didn't confirm who the speaker will be but said the banquet is scheduled for March 14 at 11:30 a.m. in the Signature Bank Community Room. The chamber website has more information.

The full interview with Marseilles and Largent is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
